STORYLINE – WITHOUT WINGS

A 48-page one-shot exploring the relationship between the Asgardian warrior Brunnhilde and her human host, Barbara Norris. The story follows Barbara as she is tormented by the fear-inducing demon D’Spayre through recurring nightmares. This psychological trauma ultimately sparks a spiritual re-merging, allowing Brunnhilde to emerge fully on Earth to resume her sacred duty of guiding the souls of the dead. The issue was written by J.M. DeMatteis and Len Wein with art by Pablo Raimondi and Manny Clark.
