The origin of Kryptonite continues! Lex Luthor’s goons have Superman down for the count, while the mystery behind casino owner Tony Gallo grows.
Superman falls from the sky as Gallo communes with the Green Kryptonite. Then Superman, is viciously pummeled by Luthor’s goons where he falls. He is near death when Gallo finally closes the door which cuts off the giant rock from harming Superman any more. Luthor, observing this from afar but unconnected to the affair is obviously curious.
