STORYLINE – This issue centers on the climax of a supernatural prison break and the introduction of a major new antagonist.

Aneksi (the ghostly assassin of Cleopatra) and her demon partner Sabanion complete their violent jailbreak from Containment Facility-4 (CONFAC-4).

They face off against the “Moon Crew” (the specialized wardens of the facility) and the “Exorcists”—priests using a mysterious energy known as The Sacred Forlorn.

While their escape succeeds, it compromises the sub-vaults of the prison, accidentally liberating other hidden supernatural terrors into the living world.

This issue marks the bloody first appearance of The Blood Shade, a terrifying new revenant described as the thematic “dark mirror” or “Joker” to Spectress’s character.
