“Worms of the World, Unite!” – The lead story features Captain Marvel (Billy Batson) facing off against the malevolent, telepathic alien worm Mr. Mind. In this tale, Mr. Mind sneaks into a post office to recruit a new Monster Society of Evil. He rounds up Earth’s normal earthworms into one location, using a “Hate-Projector” to amplify their power in a bizarre attempt to destroy Captain Marvel.

“The Case of the Missing Newsstand” – A backup story focusing on Captain Marvel Jr. (Freddy Freeman) as he investigates the sudden, mysterious disappearance of his own street-corner newsstand.

“The Day Captain Marvel Went Ape!” – Another backup adventure that introduces Bonzo the Chimp, a chimpanzee who accidentally gains incredible abilities to briefly become “the world’s mightiest chimp”.
