STORYLINE – WORLD WITHOUT LOVE

This issue launches a brand new volume and story arc centering around a massive mystery tagline: “What Did Spider-Man Do?”.

A Ruined Reputation: The story opens following a mysterious, catastrophic event that occurred six months prior. Because of his actions, Peter Parker is deeply estranged and completely “on the outs” with the Human Torch, the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, and even his Aunt May.

Mary Jane’s New Life: Peter is left isolated, bankrupt, and heartbroken. The most shocking revelation of the issue shows that Mary Jane Watson has moved on and is now living with a new partner named Paul and two children. Underworld Threats: While Peter tries to piece his life back together, New York’s criminal underworld is shifting. The classic Spider-Man villains Tombstone and Doctor Octopus emerge as the primary immediate threats, with Ock hunting Spider-Man down and Tombstone orchestrating dangerous gang warfare.
