X-Files: Season One #nn (August 1997, Deep Throat Variant) is a comic adaptation of the TV episode “Deep Throat”. It follows Agents Mulder and Scully as they investigate the disappearance of an Air Force test pilot, introducing Mulder’s shadowy informant known as Deep Throat. The issue is a Topps Comics release, 52 pages, with variant cover art by John Van Fleet.

Adapted directly from the second episode of The X-Files TV series, written by Chris Carter and adapted by Roy Thomas. Mulder and Scully investigate a missing Air Force pilot tied to secret aircraft testing. Mulder encounters Deep Throat, who warns him about the dangers of pursuing government conspiracies.
